Forever Young

The Forever Young series of classes is set up as a 4 week commitment, three 1-hour classes per week. The class starts with an assessment that measures balance, flexibility posture and strength and ends the same way. The data that we are seeing shows marked improvement in these areas!

  • Balance

    Balance is an indicator of overall health. We will work on exercises specific to increasing your ability to balance in static and dynamic states.

    Objective: Increase time able to balance on one foot.

  • Flexibility

    Flexibility is key to enjoying life and reducing pain. We will work on proper stretching to help alleviate tension.

    Objective: Decrease distance from fingertips to floor or toes.

  • Strength

    Being able to get down and up from the floor safely is reliant on strength. We will focus on strength with proper form.

    Objective: Be able to get down and up from the floor with little or no support.

  • Posture

    Upright with shoulders down and back give the lungs room to breathe and protect your lower back from injury.

    Objective: Be able to touch shoulders and back of head to wall while looking straight forward.

  • Cognition

    Brain exercises help improve memory and focus. We will use exercises that work patterns and use both sides of body to exercise your brain.

    Objective: Consistently be able to follow a new pattern on both sides of the body.
